Description: Our most popular groundcover Manzanita, 'Emerald Carpet' is valued for its dense, deep green foliage and rapid growth, up to two feet a year. Not a plant for heavy clay, it does well in most other soil types. A hybrid of two coastal species, a little summer water is necessary away from the coast. An excellent choice for a fresh green appearance throughout the year.
