Botanic Name: Populus tremuloides
Common Name: Improved Quaking Aspen
Size: 20-30h x 15'w
Sun: Sun
H20: Moist
Description:
A strain of the lovely Quaking Aspen, developed to thrive closer to the coast than its native range. This strain, while not approaching the spectacular show the trees put on in their native habitat, does keep its leaves until fall, and provides a splash of yellow. Not for every garden - requires lots of water, and roots can be aggressive. Best near a natural stream or pond. Grows 20-30 feet tall and 15 feet wide.
