Attracts Hummingbirds
Description:
A lovely red-flowered selection of the Chaparral Currant, this shrub will attract hummingbirds in droves to your garden in winter, when it is festooned with graceful drooping clusters of red flowers. Flowers are followed in summer with currant berries, not tasty for humans but excellent for attracting other species of birds to your garden. Leaves drop soon after, and the shrub will remain dormant until the appearance of flowers again in January.
