Description:
This local Ceanothus is common in chaparral and along the edges of woodlands from northern San Mateo county southwards. It is densely branched and grows to 8 or 9 feet tall. Sky-blue flowers appear in late winter, early spring. Consider using it in a sunny site as a fast growing specimen, foundation shrub or as an element in an informal hedge. Once established, it is drought tolerant.
