Description:
This Maidenhair is of unknown origin to us, although it resembles Adiantum raddianum 'Micropinnulum'. It has the smallest pinnules of any fern we offer. New growth exhibits a bronze color and the fronds have an arching habit. It can be grown in cool temperate climates as well as the tropics, but it needs protection when temperatures are below freezing. Old fronds should be removed when they start to decay. Maidenhair ferns need air movement as well as humidity.
