Description:
A very widespread species, found in Africa, Southern Europe and Asia, which readily extends its range by naturalization. Its fronds are markedly dimorphic with the fertile ones having thinner segments and being held stiffly erect. It is an easy and rewarding fern to grow in a pot or in a variety of situations in the ground but needs lime in the soil or potting mix. 'Albo-lineata' is readily distinguished by a broad, white stripe running the lenght of each segment. Often regarded as a botanical variety. Do not overwater in winter. Morning sun ideal. When in a pot, keep it's soil MOIST.
