Description:
This is one of our local drought tolerant ferns. It is found throughout California on rocky shaded slopes. When established it does well with or without summer water, but it must be watered regularly the first year. New fronds appear in winter and last several seasons sometimes creating clumps as large as three feet around. Also makes a beautiful container specimen.
