Ceanothus impressus Common Name: Santa Barbara Ceanothus Size: 5'h x 10'w Sun: sun H20: occ.H2O/dry This spreading shrub grows to 5' tall and up to 10' wide. Its arching branches and small leaves create a distinctive form. Spring brings a profusion of rich blue flowers in 1" clusters. Native to the coast, this ceanothus will not take extreme heat. It does well in coastal and temperate climates such as that of the Bay area. It likes full sun and good drainage.
