Description:
This rare and unusual manzanita is found only on San Bruno Mountain. Unlike most of the low Arctostaphylos it has large, light green clasping leaves. This gives it a distinctive look that could be used to good effect in combination with other grey green shrubs such as Salvias. Appreciates a sunny well drained spot in the garden.
