Description:
Whitish stems, grey-white crinkly leaves and lavender flowers in whorled clusters are combined on this tough plant. It quickly reaches 6' wide and 4' high in dry sunny locations. The lavender-pink flowers appear between May and June. The Purple Sage tolerates both heat and drought. An excellent background shrub for a tough spot in the garden. It is native to the South Coast Ranges, and mountains of Southern California.
