Description:
This is a horticultural selection of Arctostaphylos uva-ursi that originated from cuttings taken in 1962 at Anchor Bay on the north coast of California in Mendecino county. It was introduced to the trade by Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden. This groundcover has deep green leaves, blooms in spring, is moderately dense and prefers an acidic soil. It can grow in full sun or shade. When established, water once per month.
