Description:
This rare, local Manzanita is found only on Montara and San Bruno Mountains. It has clasping grey-green leaves and the red-brown bark typical of Manzanitas. Its flowers are white, and held in dense clusters. Because of its winter bloom it is a hummingbird favorite. Given full sun, occasional summer water and good drainage it will eventually reach 10' high and as wide.
