Description:
Goldback Fern is a lovely small fern native to dry slopes around the state. Bright green fronds have a pale green underside covered with a fine powder. If the back of a developed frond is pressed against dark clothing it will leave a gold imprint of spores. Does well in the ground or in a container, with shade, good drainage, and a dry period between waterings.
