Description:
This striking Penstemon is native to the high desert mountains of eastern California. It is quite tall with stems reaching up to 5 ft. bearing showy, fragrant pale pink flowers. Use at the back of a mixed border in full sun with good drainage and little or no summer water. Combine with other drought tolerant perennials and small shrubs, such as other Penstemon species, Buckwheats, Artemisias, and Monkeyflowers.
