Description:
Low, mat-forming violet native to damp banks and meadows at many elevations through-out most forest communities in the state. Grows in the Coast Ranges from Monterey Co. to Alaska. Blue-violet flowers from March to July. Plant in sun on the coast. Inland plant in light shade. Some summer water is recommended for best results. Will reseed freely under the right conditions.
